Susan Jahns Moore is the principal of West End Marketing & Communications, a collaborative advertising agency that helps businesses and non-profits thrive. With 20 years of experience in both the agency and non-profit sectors, she blends unique expertise in marketing and new media strategy, campaign development, media buying, public relations, copywriting and online content development. The agency is certified as a Texas HUB and Woman Business Enterprise (WBE).
Her interest and enthusiasm in new media led to the creation and launch of AustinHomeSearch.com and ABoR.com in 1996 while directing marketing & communications for the Austin Board of Realtors. She continues to stay abreast of new media opportunities to broaden her clients’ range of options in their overall communications strategy.
Susan brings solid experience and long-standing relationships in media to her clients. She has planned and purchased national, regional and local media across the spectrum, including spot television, cable, radio, print, digital and outdoor. In campaigns, she aligns media strategy with marketing goals to identify potential opportunities, leverage content and pursue the most cost-effective media channels.
Writing is her sweet spot, and she relishes the art of creating, adapting and integrating content across the spectrum of media and markets. From the more traditional methods of print, broadcast and direct marketing, to blogging and web content, she brings clarity to communications in every medium.
She also enjoys collaborating with Austin’s creative professionals and agencies to leverage capabilities and make work just that more interesting.
Susan has been an active member of the Austin Chapter of Women in Communications since 1992, serving on its board and committees. She also serves on the board of Freelance Austin as Chair of Programs and serves on the Programs committee for Austin Ad Fed. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and has received national and statewide awards for her work.
